Grease points appear when keratin blocks under the skin. It can affect people of any age, including new-born babies. Among the most common causes are certain skin diseases, burns, cosmetic procedures such as dermabrasion, the use of steroid creams or prolonged exposure to the sun.
The following remedies are recognized for leading to the disappearance of milia. The good news is that perhaps you already have some of the ingredients in your household, so the recommended treatments are at hand.
- Apple vinegar or lemon juice
If you only have one single grease point, soak a cotton swab in vinegar or lemon juice and keep it on the affected area for 5 minutes. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times per day, preferably several days in a row. However, if you are dealing with multiple points of fat on the face, use a cotton pad.
You can use celandine tincture, propolis tincture, Swedish bitters. The effect will be the same, given that these products are alcohol based. After just a few days of application, you will notice that your problem is diminished. Do not use all over the face, but only on points of fat, using a cotton swab.

Put a few slices of potato in a blender and then apply the paste on the areas with problems. After 30 minutes, rinse your face with water. This treatment is ideal for people who have milia all over the face.
- Steam baths
Prepare an infusion of herbs (optional – peppermint, lavender, chamomile, lime) and take a steam bath for 10 minutes. Then wipe your skin with a clean towel. Resort to this routine until you notice an improvement. Your skin will be smoother and cleaner.
Apply this ingredient on the area with problems and leave it on for 15 minutes, then remove with water and apply a moisturizer.
